Feldstein is out of the lineup today. Over the weekend I heard a passing reference to him having a leg injury. Does anyone know any more about it?

Pretty sure it was a foot but not sure of diagnosis beyond "dinged up". He pinch hit the game he didn't start/play the field.

Top 1st, Rossomando allows a one out single, but otherwise has no difficulties in getting out of the inning.

One out singles by Yahn, Susi, and Gnesda score a run for UConn in the bottom of the 1st. Huskies still at bat.

Meanwhile, Chris Jones has had a couple mentions of Feldstein's knee injury, and having him rest it during the midweek game so he will be ready for the weekend series against Memphis.

Heard that... could have sworn it was a foot too because they referenced taking a ball off it w/ padding. I guess dinged up works.

Yes, a dinged up leg works. Hearing it from Chris Jones during this broadcast is much better than reading a twitter feed that Feldstein was a late scratch from a game while waiting for the women's basketball final four games to start, which is what happened with me. That sort of thing makes you wonder what is going on.

Bottom 2nd, Rossomando allows a leadoff walk, Susi attempts to throw out the runner at 3rd but sends the ball into left field, allowing the runner to score. Game tied up at 1.

Rossomando does not have his control in the 3rd inning, loads up the bases. Penders takes him out in favor of Dandeneau with the game tied at 1. This should be interesting, as Dandeneau has not done well in recent outings.

Oey... RR can't even get through the third. Nothing is gonna come easy this year.

Dandeneau does the job, gets a pop out to end the inning.

Top 4th inning, Dandeneau has an easy 1-2-3 inning. Haven't been able to say that about CJ lately.

Offense has been atrocious. Up only 2-1 despite some more impressive heart by the bullpen.

Bottom 5th, a one out bases loaded ground out by Susi scores a run for the Huskies. Gnesda then walks to reload the bases. Moriarty then walks to make it 3-1.
