UConn @ Holy Cross (4/24/18 @5:05p @ Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field)

Triple off the wall ties the game up. Dunlop gets the next hitter to end the inning.

Dunlop has some Ronnie qualities about him. One inning he looks unhittable then the next he can’t find the zone and when he does they tee off.

Jake Wallace had some unhittable moments last year, but for the most part didn't have control when he would come in. He grew out of it this season. Hopefully Dunlop can do something similar.

4th inning, UConn rally. Holy Cross throws a bunt away to gift UConn a run. Stefanski single drives in another run. Prato single scores another run. 6-3 UConn with a Holy Cross pitching change.

Holy Cross relief pitcher comes in and balks in another run. 7-3 UConn going to the bottom of the 4th.

Dunlop gets an out, a batter reaches on an error and then the next batter gets a walk. Dunlop leaves, Rajkowski comes in.

Rajkowski gets the final 2 outs of the inning without any runners scoring. 7-3 UConn going to the top of the 5th.

The good news is Rajkowski seems to have come back from injury a better pitcher.

Bottom 6th, 1 walk and 1 out later, Rajkowski comes out and Dandeneau comes in. Rajkowski had 5 strikeouts in 2 innings.

Dandeneau gives up a 2 run homer to make it 9-5.

Good thing the offense came to play today.

We need Holmes and / or Rivera to step up. This is not a good offense so throwing strikes is the key.
