Shots are 9-7....5 of our shots came in the last 3 minutes. Gotta get some consistency on offense.

Let’s not do an interview in between periods, but do one when the second period starts...makes sense. Not. I mean, nice to hear from Metcalf, but not during the first 6 minutes of a period.

UConn now up 14-10 on shots, but nothing to show for it.

We really miss Ishkakov. We just had a 5 on 4 with 5 forwards and we constantly got caught along the boards before they would just outwork us and dump it out.
Ishkakov was a great skater and puck handler.

Best period of the series for the Huskies...just nothing to show for it. Kondelik should have scored, but the puck bounced off his stick.

Third period early in the year and just four defenseman for UMass with the second of back to back games - we need to be get the puck in their zone and wear them down. They should be ripe for the picking.

Turnbull is a heck of a player. Of course as soon as we score UMass is buzzing all over. No momentum for us.

5 on 3 for 20 seconds for UConn coming up - UConn timeout

Correction a 2 minute 5 on 3 for UConn - only 40 seconds left in it.

UConn hits the post on the 5 on 3, and the PP is over. Vomacka stopping a breakaway soon after.

and in typical hockey fashion the referees are going to look to call a penalty on the team that just had a 5 on 3. And UConn is shorthand with 3 minutes and change.

Going to Overtime- hell of an effort regardless of what happens by UConn to bounce back
