Which is great, because the DC area is arguably the richest recruiting territory on the East coast. His area was mostly the DC region.
Well, I already started doing that on another thread, but I wasn't trying to have it catch on. It's just a good lazy man's move.
PURE BSNo doubt this is a make or break year for KO. He needs to win next year or he could be out.
D. Daniels was one. Marcus Williams another. I think that's it.Honest question, who were the west coast guys on the NC teams? You may have a Valid point, but if so, I am not remembering them. Peace.

Said Chillious: “It’s going to sound cliché, but the thing that made UConn attractive to me is UConn — one of the best brand names in college basketball, four national championships. Historically, UConn recruits high-level student-athletes and produces big-time pros.
“Then, obviously, there is Kevin Ollie with his passion for UConn basketball and passion in general and his vision for this program — winning championships. I’ve had a relationship with KO since 1996, so it’s not like I’m coming to work for somebody I don’t know.”
How's this for passion and PR !!!

West Coast UCONN Huskies-
Donny Marshall - Federal Way, Washington
Brian Fair -- Arizona
Kevin Ollie - LA,
Travis Knight - Sandy, Utah
Marcus Williams - Cali
Don't forget Deandre Daniels and Dham.
I guess its not a huge national story but I don't totally understand why/how some stories get sat on and then people decide to run with other stories that aren't even true. Possibly the magnitude of the story, or more likely, not wanting to ruin connections.
Marcus Johnson.
Marcus Johnson. And Jamaal Trice, I suppose.
Not that there's anything wrong with that......We do need someone to coach up our bigs.
As for recruiting, his real connections are on the East Coast. (Now, I guess, he's bicoastal.)
