I think the theory is that exposure to a group with a higher basketball IQ will be helpful for Harvard--if not actually making them any better, at least having an aspirational benefit in showing them what great talent can achieve when combined with discipline and perseverance.

It's a combination of what guys have said... location, quality of the other team, and intelligence and style of the other team. What's the point of a scrimmage if you just are running and gunning the whole time. Harvard may not be on the same level talent wise, but they are going to make you run your sets and contest you on every possession. They'll also expose you on the defensive end if you are not communicating as a team.

This makes me so happy and I’m so happy for him. His 2 years at UConn playing against the best and for a coach who worked everyone hard, were so important for him. Good stuff
