Unfortunately, I believe UConn’s 2024 addition brings them to a total of $634 Million and Harvard addition brings them to $53.2 Billion. Slight difference.
UConn's endowment is miniscule for a wealthy state's flagship.

Hillsdale College, in Michigan, with less than 2,000 students, has an endowment around $1 Billion. That's $1 Billion with a big "B".

They know how to raise money and attract large donations from the alums of major universities around the country, especially from those in the Midwest.

I'm fine with UConn not following the Hillsdale model of funding

UConn never took the endowment seriously until recent years. They always got the money they wanted from the state.
