can anyone give me quick update on the game and qb play? I'm travelling and have just a few minutes online..

thx

Quick summary.

Lots of McCombs. He's fast and shifty.

All three QB's have played and present different challenges to the defense.

Our defense has stuffed their runs and kept the passing game in check. Not surprisingly, no surprises on defense.

21-0. Start of the second half.

Sio Moore is playing very nicely at cornerback today. He' s got 3 or 4 pass break ups already.

Play action from McEntee looked real good. Froze the LB's.

Question was asked in the other thread about QBs. So far, they look decent. As good, but not necessarily better than ZF. They will only get better though (I hope)

Gotta disagree. They look much better than ZF. If for no other reason that 2 of the 3 are mobile and present challenges to the defense that ZF couldn't.

Nice pass by McEntee on third and long.

Easy to see why players say he throws "an easy, catchable ball".

I like it. More play action and throwing so far this half. Regardless of the score, they need these QBs to be comfortable throwing the ball.

Mac looks the best out there IMO.

Looks the best throwing the ball, but I really like the dimension that McCummings brings.

Don't guess we'll see DJ at all if they aren't bringing him in here.

Heh... with low bandwith / video resolution it's really hard for me to tell what's going on during plays like that reverse.

JMac throws the ball so the receivers catch it in stride. YAC is going to be way up this year.

I know it's just Fordham.... but I'm cautiously optimistic about this offense.
