UConn Football Fall Camp 2025

Joe looks very confident and comfortable. Obviously they’re not going to show bad throws, but all these clips show him making good decisions, throwing accurate balls and avoiding mistakes. Putting the ball where only his receiver can make a play. That’s all he has to do for us to have more success this year

hoping he has finally developed his "touch" passing.
if so, that will make him incredibly dangerous to opponents.

the interception vs maryland Wk 1 2024 comes to mind, where he bulleted a pass to victor rosa on a quick out route, that bounced off VR's shoulder pad and right into the hands of the maryland defender. it was an awkward throw that was both wayyy too hard and inaccurate to boot, hence VR's needing to twist backwards to try to catch it, and then the INT.

Obviously we didn't lose that game because of that moment, but in a tight 4th quarter, Those kinds of throws can be devastating.

Unless my eyes deceive me, there were a bunch of highlights with Toriyan Johnson (#76) playing LT with the 1's on the OLine.
Not to be funny, but with a little bit of a pun, "We talkin bout practice..." (Allen Iverson, but not as serious)... All kidding aside... we always get to see guys participating at different levels during practice... If the case, I'd be pleasantly surprise if this kid sees the field. I mean, he's been here long enough to have developed enough to get a few live snaps at this point... It'd be a point the right direction for him/us...

think so. They're all on the staff.
Was just looking at the staff on the website to find them and learned some interesting things:
1) Jagger Pagano, son of John and nephew of Chuck is on the staff as an offensive/RB assistant
2) Mora's son, Trey, is on the staff as an offensive/TE assistant
3) Don't know if there's relation to Dalton Hilliard, but there is a Paige Hilliard on staff as director on-campus recruiting

Paige is Dalton’s sister. Mora is all about getting young folks a boosted start in the field.

The Storrs Central depth chart is from August 4th. I would assume
some things have changed since then.
Yeah there have been a couple changes. I believe Graham himself confirmed some changes on the board, just hasn’t updated the depth chart because it’s public

Overall it seems like it has been a quiet preseason is my impression. Unless I missed something, it is good to have a pro forma preseason without much drama, quietly going about the business of filling the holes caused by departures and moving people up and down on the basis of progress, new skills learned, improved situational awareness.

We got no updates this pre-season (as compared to others)... it seems that way... but, might be a good thing... less injuries...
My hope is for "no news, good news"....

And not overlook and then lose a home opener to an in-state solid and scrappy football team in Central Connecticut State. Too many new faces on lines to be effective that early in the season. Look for the surprise FCS loss to open the season with a torpedo. They lost to UMass by 4 early in season and we won by 5 at end of season with kinks worked out. Hate to call it but this team is not near great…. 7-5 for the season.

Here- found the highlights for ya. Now what were you saying?
