UConn Football Fall Camp 2025

Oh my gosh, that is pessimistic. Reading how our offense was having issues moving the ball this summer against the Defense I think was actually a good sign.

If we can’t do better than 7-5 this year, I would be shocked and would consider it a hugely Down year for the program.
I think with the portal, it's hard to tell how good teams will be each year, especially G5 teams. The over/under for wins is 7.5, so going 7-5 is reasonable. Personally, I think 8 wins which would be a successful season.

Not speaking for anyone else....

It's one thing to say uncertainty leads you to go with a 7-5 prediction. It's a whole different ball game suggesting CCSU is one of the five losses. I have a tough time reconciling losing to CCSU and still finding a path to seven wins.

No, don't read what the coaches say. When coaches say something, you can't assume they are speaking for the purpose of communicating truths any more than politicians do.

That having been said, I'm not insulted in hearing 7-5. We have so much turnover year to year on defense especially that who the heck knows if we'll be better or worse than last year.

Totally agree with this.

The interviews with these young men and coach Mora are so inspiring and gratifying, especially as an alum. Feeling very optimistic about the season right now. My wife and I plan to be at the Rent for the FIU game, traveling first from DFW-BDL to visit our son on ACK for opening day of scalloping season. Anticipating great success again on both occasions and hoping to see some BY faithful at the Rent.

CCSU had a surprise year last year. Yes they have some pieces back, but this should be a game to balance last years opener.
Massey is no big fan of UConn historically for football and has UConn pre season #98 and still has UConn a 42-7 winner vs CCSU. Picking that game as a loss is pretty out there, like picking the Fruit to win the NCAA tournament in 2026.
