UConn still has games remaining in the regular season against No. 15 Syracuse and No. 17 Liberty.
 
Duke lost again (UVa). UConn looking good for hosting if they win out.

Louisville (2-1 ot to W&M) and Michigan (3-0 to RU) suffer upset losses!

Looking like the only interesting thing is going to be the battle to see who loses to UNC in the final.

With upsets like these, it helps to explain how UConn maintains a No. 3 ranking in the field hockey poll. A lot of teams of odd losses.
 
Duke lost again, which should finally take them out of contention and plummet them in the polls.
 
Latest Coaches poll:
UConn holds at #3
Duke, currently in 6th place in conference, inexplicably holds at #4, AHEAD of Louisville & UVa which both have much better records against the same conference opponents. Both have beaten Duke as well.

Louisville Field Hockey is being punished for their basketball team's indiscretions - NCAA punishment at it's best. UVA is either being penalized for taking academic seriously (see UNC) and/or the continue rumors that if the B1G expands again, UVA will jump to them.

The UConn women's soccer season is over, baseball doesn't start up for another 3.5 months, so it seems that Chris Jones needs something to do. That something to do is now he gets to do post game interviews with Nancy Stevens, and some other interviews with the field hockey team:
