I would have put NC State #3, UCONN #4 and Indiana #5, Baylor #6. Baylor had a close game against Maryland, but MD was without Benzan. They have a pretty fierce starting 5... IU plays Stanford next so we will see...

NC State also lost to SC. They play Maryland on Thanksgiving. A victory could catapult them to #2.

Well, my other team, Colorado, moved from 33 to 29. I will enjoy that until the PAC-12 season starts and they have to play the two Oregons, UCLA, and Stanford in 4 of their first five conference games. In other words, we all know the only poll that counts comes in March.

If not for A. Boston South Carolina might not be #1, without Caitlin Clark Iowa isn’t #8. Without Lebron James, the Lakers don’t win the 2020 title.
What does it matter? Paige is apart of a team. Polls aren’t based on what teams would look like without their superstar players.
