For Maria's lead question to be about the post game "incident" with all of the late game drama that went on, whatever happened must have been pretty ugly. All we got to see on TV was CD looking like she was ready to tear someone apart.

mebbe his back is bothering him, and something in his mouth grabbed his attention, grimacing, pondering, smiling, snickering, whatever and all of it.
an absolute joy to listen to this man.
'hey, u asked me a question... lemme think about it.'
and he's so nice too.
helmet people, were u listening, closely? he said something like 'the best thing for caroline was to get knocked around a bit, to get the feel back...'
and he also said, on that 10 minute per half thing, that regardless, he was putting her out there for ot. g knows ball, and g knows people.

My husband saw it but we were not close enough to hear it. Fan said something and Geno turned and Jamelle was right there and they moved to center court. Next a UConn police office came and approached the guy and they both left together with the fan following the cop up the stairs near the student section and on to the concourse. Don’t know if they went to talk or was escorted out.

He said a Creighton fan said something. Geno was pretty clear it was not anyone associated with the Creighton team
I just love Caroline's game, attitude and humility. Even questions about her personally are answered with "we". And we have a team full of players with this attitude. Win or lose, it's a joy to be a fan of this UConn team.

I appreciated that Geno said that. I imagine tempers could get pretty heated with such a dramatic 4th quarter, but I was glad to know that the players and coaches kept it classy.
