Bottom 6th, Crawford with a no out RBI triple off the wall in center to make it 4-0.
 
Chris Jones says Devin Kirby is out for the season, having had surgery.
 
We need to be better than what we showed in that inning. Not being able to cash in that second run that was at third with no outs is not a great look.
 
Top 8th, Casparius strands a couple runners to come up with a scoreless inning. A very nice outing for him, should be interesting to see who comes out of the bullpen for the 9th, as I would expect that with 3 more games to play this weekend that UConn would like to avoid the big guns out of the bullpen today if possible.

Should be hopefully a low pressure situation for a kid to get his feet wet in college game
