UConn @ Coastal Carolina - Tuesday 3/13 @4p

This game is supposed to be on WHUS tomorrow. However, with the snowstorm coming and students gone from the UConn campus for spring break, I'm thinking there will be no one in the WHUS studio to engineer the game. A big snowstorm happened during spring break which prevented the Santa Clara game from being carried on WHUS. We'll see what happens this time around.

Thanks, that's good to know. I imagine they also have a gametracker of some sort as well.

We'll have to see how that works, the fall back for me will be the Coastal Carolina internet broadcast.

After today it will be interesting when and where the next UConn baseball game will be. The St. John's baseball field is grass, so it will be interesting to see what happens to that series.
 
We need this one today - yesterday's pre-cancellation field line-up:
 
Top 1st, with 1 out 4 Husky hits in a row including an RBI double by Feldstein and a 2 RBI single by Toppa makes it 3-0 with UConn still up.

One good thing about this snowstorm, I can listen to this weekday game completely at home. Already did a bunch of shoveling and played with the dog outside. I think we have well over a foot of the white stuff in Norwich.

Coastal Carolina gets a run in the bottom of the 1st. 7-1 UConn going to the top of the 2nd.

Susi double followed by a Toppa single makes it 8-1 UConn in the top of the 2nd. UConn still batting with 1 out.
 
Top 2nd ends with UConn up 10-1.

Chris Jones says St. John's has a new turf field at their ballpark. So maybe there will be baseball in New York this weekend.

Love it. Must be feast day. Although I think it might have to do with the lineup. Like having Phillips in there.

He’s a difference maker. He extends the lineup better than any other option off the bench.
 
Top 3rd, Woodworth doubles, then scores on a passed ball. 11-1 UConn.
 
Lead off homer in the bottom of the 4th for Coastal Carolina makes it 11-5. 1 out later, Kersten comes out, and Rossomando comes in.

Chris Jones just raised the possibility of a 4 game series at St. John's this weekend to make up the cancelled game at The Citadel. Kersten could get the start in that additional game.
