Double-figure scorers:

Stewie
Moriah
Natalie
Napheesa
Lou

Interesting mix.

Forget about Lou's game, how about her post-game interview? She could be an ass't coach right now.

Kerith: "How did the experiment work?"
Geno: "Like most experiments." .............. "We learned a lot about our team and I'm happy for some of them."

What a great and fun game to watch. Anyone who thinks it was boring is... well...

Spot on. I thought it was entertaining, with some well-run offense (mostly). Getting minutes for the supporting cast can only be a plus going into post-season play.

One of the issues I see on offense when the starters are out is that the subs seems shocked when a pass comes their way and they drop it or flub it resulting in a turnover.

Everyone is so concerned about the future all the time. I wouldn't be surprised to see Lou, Napheesa and Nat improve by leaps and bounds from this season to the next. And Butler has a ton of grit to her. I think she could be a huge "attitude" player that people are always seeming to look for.
As Yogi said, "The future ain't what it used to be." ;)

I noticed that. I wonder whom he was excluding.

Great new look, Java. Einstein-like. Shopping at Caveman's Fashion Optical?

I think it is a fun game, except Geno should take the start five back when UConn won by 30 pts.
We really should be nice to Jemelle Elliott.

Well thanks! But, Einstein had to wear clothes. And... he was old with all that unkempt white hair all over the place. I like to think of myself as a bit more debonair.

OMG! You're grossing me out, man. I always assumed you were decently attired below the headshot. That's nasty- don't you realize this is a wholesome PG family site?

Yep.....let's enjoy this run.

But.....UConn is going to be awesome next season ;)

Natalie's post-game interview was amazing. I am more impressed than ever by her- I've always thought that sooner or later she'd elevate her game, but the way she conducted herself off the court, in that t.v. interview, was special. That young lady was eloquent, charming, humble and poised while giving her teammates all the credit for her excellent performance. You gotta love that kid with the cuter-than-heck smile.

[And a hysterical comment from Gabby on The Geno Auriemma Show tonight: When asked by Kerith who would play Geno in a Broadway Show about UConn Women's Basketball, Gabby responded- "Tony Soprano."]

LOL! But, you know what they say happens when you "assume." Besides, you don't have to infer what I imply. Or, maybe I didn't imply what you inferred. I'm from a different era...I am decently attired ...things were different back then ...we always went shirtless. It was necessary to display, and hopefully imply, our dominance. ;)

The Geno show was excellent. Lots of good stuff. ;^)

Regardless of the look J-Man i love seeing your picture because their is always such good info.that follows it.Do like the glasses. Is the caveman look with glasses kind of like an oxymoron?

Not so sure Bearcat fans would agree, but for Huskie fans, you betcha!

Best part for me was Butler's play. Granted it was against a weak team but she seemed to have regained her assertiveness and was more fluid, especially with her hands.

I though it also wakened Collier from her funk. She was very active in this game, more like what she was giving earlier in the year than what she has done in the last month.
