Geno at half about his new starting lineup and what they learned: well they learned they can't guard anybody, we talked all week about giving them opportunities to play instead of bringing them in when we're up 30, they didn't do a bad job

they can't guard anybody but they didn't do a bad job??

UConn's weakness has been exposed and their inability to consistently make 3 pt jump shots is a concern for the tournament..

Shooting the 3 too quickly. Need to move the ball and get the shooter open. Whne the 3 is in the flow of the offense, its going in.

..."It's the same thing with young players. They think, 'We'll go down there and score, and they'll come down her and score. And then we'll go down there and score, and they'll come down here and score'. But games are won on the defensive end, not the offensive end."

Well, 5/15 isn't world class, but it is not rotten either.

that's a phrase you don't hear often!
One of the things that I've long been impressed by is just this sort of substitution - and, how seamlessly the team adjusts to it. Years ago, IIRC, Wilnett Crockett went in for Ketia Swanier, and I just chuckled for two minutes.

Just like that, in the first 3 minutes of the 2nd half, the lead grows to 30.

Stewie for 3!!! boy that was a crazy sequence, ball was whipping all around the court on that one. 61-25

On radio, it's Sammie, not Lou, for 3. Sammie? I don't think so...... Just one androgynous name per customer
