Why? If you get it, you still have a ton of work to do just to get a field goal. If you don't get it, Cincy could put the game away. Reward isn't worth the risk, especially since we've been terrible on short yardage situations this year.

Because, what's the difference? You get it, and you can tie with a score and one more in the 3rd. Cinci, shooting themselves in the foot could not be anticipated.

While Sherriffs is better than last year, IMO, he is not the QB of the future. He is not at all a good passer.

Produce or move aside. That should be true at every position not just QB.
