I think Edsall is making a calculated guess that Cincy will not kick any field goals if they can help it. Kicker issues, if I'm not mistaken. And in that case, I guess he's trying to ensure a tie if Cincy get in the endzone again.

Not saying it was the right thing to do, but I think that's his mindset...

We haven't kicked or given up a lot of FG's all season. Our D gets gashed for big plays or forced punts. I have no issue with the decision.
