UConn @ BYU -- 3/16 @ 8p ET, 3/17 @ 8p ET & 3/18 @ 3p ET

BYU picks up a run in the bottom of the 6th to make it 5-3 UConn. Montgomerie may be done for the night. UConn batting in top of 7th.

Top of 7th, Susi RBI single drives in Willy Yahn to make it 6-3 UConn. Yahn now sounds like he is fielding well, and his bat is heating up as well.

Montgomerie still in the game in the bottom of the 7th. Dandeneau is warming up.

.-.
I was wrong, guess we should have let Wills throw 150 pitches. Bullpen just not getting it done. And it really starts with the walks. Throw strikes already.

I was just having some fun, as I thought Montgomerie wouldn't even start the inning. Anyway, Montgomerie finishes with 123 pitches. Dandeneau has control issues for the second game in a row, allows a run but gets out of the inning with UConn still holding a 6-5 lead. We'll see if John Russell goes for a two inning save.

New game, same story with this bullpen. Walks, Balks. It's killing this team.

Russell and Susi, ugghh. BYU up 7-6 and still batting with runners all over the place.

Lead gone....likely game lost. No lead and I mean no lead is safe with this pitching

Oh and I forgot wild pitches. Ridiculous. Finding ways to blow games.

Top of the 9th, Yahn doubles, and Susi singles to tie up the game at 7. 5 RBI for Susi. Hill pinch runs for Susi, who is not having the best of defensive games to say the least.

.-.
Up 8-7 apparently, according to gametracker. Gosh I wonder how this will play out.

Hey, pitches can get by the BYU catcher as well. Hill scores, and UConn takes a 1 run lead into the bottom of the 9th.

LeFevre catching, Stefanski to LF, Winkel to 1B.

2 quick outs, then an awful walk to their soft hitting #7 hitter. God forbid we make this easy on ourselves.

.-.
Got to 2 outs with their two worst hitters at the plate and walk them both. Win or lose this, we are simply not ready to be a high level team.
