UConn-BC exhibition game - Monday, Oct 13, 2:00 pm

I swear, if someone cough cough it should be UConn put together a state-by-state guide outlining how you could watch UConn games on TV/Streaming it would sell like hotcakes.
See post #22 above.
The only thing missing is the specific "linear" network (ie Fox, FS1, ESPN, TNT, etc) for each regular season game. These are all national networks so the only difference is calculating the time zone difference.
There is also a thread pinned at the top of the forum detailing which specific networks/services are needed.

The 10/13 BC game is on UConn+ as is the 10/26 Southern CT game.

The page for the event on my app doesn't indicate this info:

I do believe this is audio only (the clue is the headphones). Did you find something where UConn+ is carrying video?

I thought it was also video (below). But it seems UConn+ practice is to mix audio with a picture of the UConn logo and call that a “live video”.

To be certain, one can check later this schedule from uconnhuskies.com. It does list the SCT game as TV with UConn+. 2025-26 Women's Basketball Schedule - University of Connecticut Athletics

App also available on Roku, as well as UCONN+
UConn+ quality was a little sketchy on a football game earlier this year. I'll probably download the WFSB app to my TV.

Depends on the setup that you have.
I livestream using my Smart TV, an Xbox S, an Amazon Firestick or a Roku.
I have the Hulu + Live TV and Peacock apps downloaded to all 3 devices. I have the UConn+ app downloaded to the Roku.
I turn on my Smart TV, select my source, then the app and all is good. Easy peasey.
I'm guessing having a cable provider or DirecTV is a bit easier.
If I have a smart TV and YouTube TV, what is my source and then the app?

Hartford Courant is listing both men's and women's exhibition games versus BC as being broadcast on both NBC Sports Boston as well as Peacock. Hope that's accurate.

You are fine for all except 7 regular season games because they will be broadcasted on YouTubeTV channels (for example Fox, FS1, FS2, ESPN, TNT, TBS, NBC,TRUTV).
For the other 7 regular season games and the Big East Tournament, you need to subscribe to Peacock and download the Peacock app to your tv. Some Smart TVs come with the app already downloaded.

Interesting...when I last checked the Peacock schedule (yesterday), the game was not showing up under the Big East "Live & Upcoming Events."
It's not showing up on the UConn Huskies app schedule either. Just NBC SPORTS BOSTON

Short term, how do I watch BC and then the exhibition games on if UConn+does not supply video.

Thank you by the way.

The BC exhibition game is only available in the NBC SPORTS BOSTON market. It's a regional sports network so it has a limited viewing market. 😲😠☹️
I am pretty sure that the Southern Connecticut game is currently only available on WWAX and UConn+.

YW.

If you don't already have Peacock through an existing account, then you would have to separately subscribe to Peacock. It will appear as an icon on your smart TVs list of choices. So, in order to watch a game on Peacock instead of clicking on whatever your current primary content provider is, e.g., YouTube TV or Hulu live, you would click on the Peacock icon and that would give you access to the Peacock content.

It's not quite as convenient as all having it in one area, but it's easy to do, and it would become second nature to you in short order. If this is still not clear to you, let me know and I'll take a picture of my TV home screen so you can see it.

I have NBC Sports Boston in my Xfinity package (not added special, just included in one of the packages I have) . I get all their stuff here in Greater Hartford so apparently greater Hartford is included in their marketing region. The 2PM game is listed in the scroll guide for NBC Sports Boston., and provides a prompt to record as well. I have never been excluded from seeing live anything listed in their scroll guide. I will be shocked if the game is not available to me, come Monday

Saw that as well, and am happy if it’s true. The courant, though😫

How about a good highlight video?
Everyone can watch the game for free.

Go to UConn+ at https://uconnhuskies.com/watch/search

When the site comes up, use the menu on the left to go to Women’s Basketball

The next page will have a link to watch the game live at 2:00 on Monday. A replay will probably be available. Note that there is an audio-only pregame show at 1:30 also at UConn+

I find it really refreshing that there were several posts here on the BY WBB forum questioning the fact that the BC game was only going to be available live on NBC Sports Boston and it didn't seem "fair" (my word). Then suddenly, just like magic, the game is available live on the UConn+ app. Coincidence?????
Regardless, I am a happy camper now.

Yeah Nan. I see that but there's no indication that it's more than audio only. Unless I'm missing something. It is encouraging that there are 2 things to click on, the first being audio, and the second one, the one you highlighted, being who knows what.
