Uconn certainly has me sad at the moment. Fortunately I have all of last years BE tournament on dvr, and the whole NCAA tourney too...
Watching us beat Cuse in OT... It becomes so obvious that Kemba was just ridiculous. I will always feel for him that he didn't get player of the year. Jimmer was great but what Kemba did every game against a much higher level of competition was incredible.
The way teams defend us is completely different now... When Kemba had ball up top he was the focus, everything extended. We obviously can't offer exactly that threat anymore, but I do think our Best bet is to move lamb back to the baseline ( and up to foul line gainst Cuse) and let boat create, and leave bazz on wing (and hope he remembers how to shoot).
I almost spent a lot of money a few months ago to sit near the court at the carrier for this game... To br honest I'm glad I didn't... But I have always seen CBS games bring out the best in teams, and our D is pretty solid at times... I'm looking for effort... Reality is, as g town found out tonight, even if you deserve to win at Cuse it ain't gonna happen...
