Something to root for today. If we win plus Memphis ( down 2-0 in 5th) and USF loses we would be in a 4 way tie for 3rd and only 1 game out of second. As I stated a few times above or in other threads, the most important thing is us winning ( obvious statement ). But with this league being so closely contested, you can go from 2nd to 7th with just a few games lost. So it makes every conference game incredibly important.

Well, a not so good 3rd inning. Four runs for Cincinnati gives them a 4-3 lead.

RBI double by Melley scores Siena to tie the game at 4 at the end of the 3rd. Cincinnati does not have the deepest pitching staff, is already using their third pitcher of the game.

Today's action: ECU beat UH 4-1, Tulane took out USF 5-3, Memphis beat UCF 6-5 and we win 10-8. Going into tomorrow (not considering tie-breakers):

UH 12-8
ECU 12-8
USF 11-9
Memphis 11-9
UConn 10-10
Tulane 10-10
UCF 8-12
Cincy 6-14

UCF just took @ Memphis 4-1

Way to bounce back with 2 out single for Testani. UConn 5-4 bottom of 6.

Jordan Tabakman stays in to pitch the 7th. Aside from the 3rd inning Tabakman has been good. This is usually as far as he goes, but I'm sure Penders is hoping to get another inning out of him so he can go directly to Ruotolo without using anyone else from the bullpen. It would seem to me Ruotolo going three innings today would be a bit much since he got the save in yesterday's game.

I think we're in business. Finally a two out hit (Daniello)!

I think we're in business. Finally a two out hit (Daniello)!

The Daniello triple was against a lefty, and Daniello hasn't been hitting southpaws well this season. Five run lead, and Ruotolo coming in to pitch the 8th.
