Surprise, Surprise, another Sunday lackluster offensive showing. No score through 5. Haven't been able to come up with the big 2 out hit and runner in scoring position.

Over replaces Tabakman is the 7th and has given up a double and back to back walks. Bases loaded with 1 out. Once again control is an issue with the bullpen.

And now Pnders brings in Darras with bases loaded. Not sure about this as it usually takes Darras a batter or two to find hos control. Hope there is no wild pitch or walk coming.

Darras on a 3 and 2 pitch gets the ground ball double play. Makes me nervous but get he job done.

Our offense with nothing today. Another 1,2,3 easy inning for Memphis. Meanwhile every inning they are threatening. Hope we can somehow pullthis one out.

Darras gets them 1,2,3 in the 8th. Come on guys lets get a run.

Testani coming up with a runner on 2nd in the 8th. I'm surprised Deroche-Duffin is not pinch hitting.

Aggressiveness cuts both ways... Way they are hitting ya gotta give it a shot, but damn - can't catch a break.

SS lets one go right through his legs but Daniello get thrown out at the plate. Testani at 2nd now with 2 outs.
Penders may need to relieve himself of 3rd base coaching duties. We get more guys thrown out.

Its a tough call. 1st and 3rd 1 out with Sundberg up. He's a tough guy to double up but does strike out a lot. He ends up getting hit by pitch and Siena flies out. My issue is that it appears Penders is a bad call of judgment. We get too many guys thrown out and often it isn't even close.

Nico Darras is on a pitching roll. Seven straight hitters retired. On to the bottom of the 9th.

Blake Davey singles, moves to 2nd on a wild pitch. Olmstead pinch runs. I don't like this move, as it takes a big bat out of the lineup. Sure enough, the Huskies strand the runner.

Davey gets to 2nd with 1 out. They pinch run for him so he is lost for the rest of the game.
McDowell then strikes out and Yahn grounds out.
Too many missed opportunities.

As good as we appear to be at fly ball outs to the outfield I would have loved a guy on third with one out.

Granted there is no guarantee (and I did not see the play so I don't know how close it was) but as he would have needed to hesitate on the ball hit in front of him (to the shortstop) there should be valid reason to question trying to score.

Error by Melley leads to Unearned run. They get the sac down, they steal 3rd and get the ground out for the run.

Hill is up, no doubt he will bunt. Deroche-Duffin to bat for Testani.

Sac bunt by Hill and Deroche-Duffin with the big hit to tie game.
