Cayden Suchy:
On second thought, don't think he's draft eligible. He was such a good basketball player too, Pinkerton was unstoppable with him. Great athleteIts still so early but I would be really interested to see if Marshall starts cracking some draft projections. Monster kid with huge power, more walks than Ks, serviceable fielding so far.
Would prefer he stay at UConn for another year. Like with basketball, as fans, we gotta stop wishing our star players away prematurely. UConn stays strong when they retain our best players. Its still so early but I would be really interested to see if Marshall starts cracking some draft projections. Definitely not wishing him away prematurely. But also UConn stays strong when they have players go to the pros, because then recruiting gets significantly easier. You can point to the SNHU-UConn-MLB progression to show the value of a program. It's good for players to stay, but it's equally good for them to improve their draft stock and go, as it strengthens the program down the lineWould prefer he stay at UConn for another year.
