Implying Kirby is?
Well that’s convenient.Chris Jones says Ian Cooke and Andrew Sears are not available to pitch this weekend.
But this is my largest issue with Chris Jones. (And, to be fair to Chris, he's not an outside journalist, he's an Athletic Department employee.) Why in the world wouldn't you update your fanbase on this while discussing pitchers who are out? But he is not good at sharing roster information up front -- at best it leaks out as a series moves forward.Chris Jones did not mention Kirby, so I would think he is available to pitch.

Molina handcuffing them and tying them up big timeBats seem late, left pitcher with a tough arm slot must be hard to see the ball early. Hopefully second time through the order we can ding it
I have no issues what so ever with Chris Jones. He's a wonderful play by play guy, and he generally reports during game broadcasts information about UConn baseball that you are not going find out from anywhere else. That has been my experience over the many years that I have been listening to him do UConn baseball.
He is by far the best source for info on UConn baseball out there between his game broadcasts and his various interviews.
Nice seats!First big spot in this game against Kash
On steroids. There making this guy look like Rodger Clemens
