This is a great listen, about a half hour before the first game against URI. Some of the highlights were Reggie talking about his recovery and Erik Stock calling UConn, “Last Chance UConn” with all the transfers and new guys on the team. Penders is always a great listen

Guessing Hector Alejandro will get the start against Central tomorrow, perhaps Cole Chudoba for the game on Wednesday. Looking like the coaching staff wants to keep Ian Cooke available for the weekend Big East games, I can certainly understand that logic. Anyway, I would think there will be plenty of bullpen activity for UConn over the next 2 games.
UConn still getting some notice in a number of polls, certainly good to see. Like I've said before, college baseball polls can really be all over the map, making noise in some, barely registering on others.

It would be nice to play Rutgers in a weekend series before conferences play. Think the only sport the two schools play is in men's soccer.
