UConn baseball 2018 tentative schedule

I count 5 postponements thus far.

To answer your second question...I am actually not sure. During Rice's heyday they never missed more than 1-2 games a year, and UConn only had 1 postponement the year we hosted as a 2.

Oregon State was a regional host last year with 4 rainouts to their name, but that's probably a bad example; they were arguably the best team in the country.

It's not like we're missing games against top 50 competition that present chances for quality wins. The optimist in me thinks the committee will see that, realize it's a more than likely we would've won them all, and doesn't penalize our schedule. Plus, not playing those teams at all keeps the RPI high.

Amazing will be the split this year between home and road games when it is all said and done.

Any thoughts on what happens if Friday night's game is rained out? Will they play the doubleheader on Saturday in Hartford or move it to play 2 on Sunday in Storrs?

If there was a Friday rainout, I would think they would try to make it up on Saturday if the weather is good that day. On Sunday you could run into possible travel curfews depending on what time is Tulane's flight going home.
