Love the games with SE Louisiana, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Tech, and St. John's. Nice schedule.

I had heard Chris Jones talking about playing SE Louisiana during a WHUS broadcast last season. Good to see them playing Coastal Carolina again, and I am thrilled to see St. John's back on the schedule. Additionally, I would bet @ATLDYKA will be very happy about the Georgia trip the first weekend of the season.

UGA is one of the biggest underachievers in college baseball. They really should be a national power, but have been brutal the past couple of years.

Foley Feild is just a great place to watch a baseball game and Athens, in general, is an awesome place to go

Would love to see them play UGA and even a trip down to Auburn would be nice. Looking forward to seeing the basketball team there this year.

The Citadel has been down the past several years, but Riley Park in Charleston is also a great place to watch a game.

Judging from the UConn athletics website, I'm guessing the baseball schedule could be officially released soon. Last season's results still pop up if you click on the baseball schedule link, but if you go to the top of the baseball page of the website you can scroll through the 2018 schedule. It mirrors the games listed at the beginning of this link.

And the baseball schedule is up on the UConn athletics website. I gave it a quick look, and it looks pretty similar to what was previously posted, with many of the game times added.

Baseball Releases 2018 Schedule

Probably the most important part of the article accompanying the release of the schedule is that it states that WHUS will once again provide full coverage. Also, as Coach Penders explains in the video that @Huskymedic posted that accompanies the schedule release, any home games that are to be played in Hartford still have to be negotiated, but he expects several games to be played there.

The UConn baseball schedule is now listing four games to be played in Hartford at Dunkin' Donuts Park this season. Both are Friday and Saturday games against AAC teams. April 27 and 28 against Tulane, and May 11 and 12 against Houston.

Hope they get the crowd like they did last year for ECU. Team could be pretty good next year and is always a fun watch....

UConn has its home opener against Yale scheduled for next week on March 7. I would think the two teams already have a make up date already scheduled for such an early March "hope we can play day". Anyway, right now the game time is set for 3pm. Daylight Savings Time is scheduled to go into effect the following weekend, so sunset for that day is still before 6pm. Two years ago UConn and Yale also played a few days before Daylight Savings Time started up, and that game was originally scheduled for 3pm before someone with sense moved it back to 2pm several days before the game. I would assume the same thing will happen this time around as well, but it would seem to make more sense just to schedule it for 2pm from the beginning, and not have to go back and have to change it.
