UConn and USF in the 8 vs 9 matchup

Only on the boneyard -- we complain about a tough path to the championship game after a 15-16 season. It's not supposed to be easy as a 9 seed!

This isn't a tough path. The tough path was in '11 when we had to beat DePaul, Georgetown, Pitt, Syracuse and Louisville in succession. IIRC, the last three were all in and around the top ten and Georgetown may have just fallen out of being ranked all year. THAT was a tough path to a conference championship. But did we whine about it? No. We listened to makers mark tell us to toughen up and fasten our seatbelts, we got to MSG and we won and then kept winning.

It's like some of you don't remember having to walk barefoot 20 miles to pre-school in the snow all winter. Sheesh.

We haven't played our best this year with guys learning their roles, missing games for various reasons, and some guys still just young and developing. It seems crazy but if we can be healthy enough and make a few shots (and foul shots) we can make a run. Houston is a longshot, but if by some miracle that happens I see these guys turning a corner with huge momentum. Don't wake me up.
