Very good points.

The American looks respectable in MBB and with more potential in FB than I would have guessed. WBB, I am not impressed, sans Louisville and Rutgers (based on history) it is a decent mid-major plus a top team.

How it plays out, particularly financially, is the big question.

In Mens' BB, it could be a decent league. beyond that, meh. UConn still looks better, especially in WBB, if some real league offers it a spot.
