UConn and the 2019 AAC Baseball Championship Tournament

Dandenau on the mound to start the B6 w/ top of order coming up.

Half surprised at Dandeneau in with all the pitches he threw on Tuesday. Gives up a lead off double. Wurster ready in the pen.

Run scores on an infield misplay. 7-6 with no out with runners still at the corners.

Wills Montgomery had the same issue early on in his UConn career but figured it out by his Jr year and was dominant. It just seems that coming into Feole's Jr year we thought he would have figured it out, but just hasn't. He just doesn't have command of his pitches and it kills him. Too many deep counts and high pitch counts. Wish he would but know it's unlikely that he would come back for his Senior year and really work on his command.

I wonder if he could be a 1st rounder if he comes back senior year and improves his command.

Time to criticize the coach, because I am much smarter than Penders!!!

Why not Wurster there?? 50 pitches off 1 days rest...

Dandeneau with a strikeout, then the Huskies get the weirdest double play on a ball hit back to the pitcher. Bad running by the Shockers. 7-6 UConn. Got the runner from 3B in a rundown, then there were two Shockers at 2B.

Crazy ball game. To our bullpen earlier than you'd like, but we have a lead with 3 innings left for the big three. Get the win and take the day off.
