UConn and the 2018 AAC Baseball Tournament (Updated ~ Check Schedule Change for UConn games)

Dandeneau in to start the bottom of the 6th. Tim Cate warming up!!!

Chris Jones says Tim Cate being a starter takes longer to warm up.

Sac fly scores a run for ECU to make it 4-2.

.-.
With 2 lefties coming up why would you not bring in Cate a batter earlier?

That was a nice throw by toppa on that sac fly.

Remember, Cate wasn't supposed to be available. Apparently during the 6th inning he had a big discussion with the coaches talking himself into the game. That's according to Chris Jones. Cate takes longer to warm up because he is normally a starter, so now he is in.

Cate puts two runners on, but gets out of the 6th inning with no more runs for ECU. 4-2 ECU.

You know the answer to that one. Feldstein helped get UConn here, he'll stay in the lineup until hopefully he works out of it.
I meant moving him down the lineup. With Prato, Woody, and Troy hitting well, there’s plenty of lineup variations that should work and allow him to move down the lineup

Penders and staff are at least 50% responsible for Feldstein's troubles at the plate. Do they not work on situational hitting? How about moving him in the line-up to see if that helps any?

I agree with that, moving him down in the lineup. Thought you meant sitting him.

Simeone allows a 2 out walk, but then Susi throws out a base stealer to end the inning.
