One big piece of good news amid the problems. Kyler Fedko now has 4 hits on the game. If he keeps the bat going, that will pay off big down the road fo the Huskies. 4-3 Texas Tech going to the bottom of the 8th with Marrero on the mound for UConn. Lead off homer for Texas Tech to make it 5-3.

Sac fly makes it 6-3 Texas Tech. Two more runs score on a throwing error by Devenney on a stolen base attempt to make it 8-3. Wurster coming out after issuing a walk, Kenny Campbell in try to get the final out of the 8th inning.
