One big piece of good news amid the problems. Kyler Fedko now has 4 hits on the game. If he keeps the bat going, that will pay off big down the road fo the Huskies. 4-3 Texas Tech going to the bottom of the 8th with Marrero on the mound for UConn. Lead off homer for Texas Tech to make it 5-3.

This looks like a losing baseball team right now. Not that there aren’t bright spots but this is just an incomplete team as it stands. Missed bunts, strikeouts, free 90’s, lack of timely hits with runners in scoring position, defensive miscues....oh and now a balk....

Campbell having a horrible time. 10-3 going to the top of the 9th. Playing a team like Texas Tech is really going to make you pay when you make all these mistakes of all different stripes.

Game over. I was half expecting Chris Jones to start singing "There's always a game tomorrow" during the final half inning. Come to think of it, Jones trying to sing could provide some strange form of entertainment, at least for me.

I think we are and the tone of the board will change as we get to Big East play. The record isn't good but we've played a lot of really good teams and more often than not held our own

Obviously the record is not good. But there have been only too bad losses in my mind, today’s game and the loss to Davidson. Hopefully they can turn it around and gain a split and head to Philly next week.
