Just pickin scores. I like the way Kelly has played and become more of a scorer. UConns defense gets better every game.

As for Stanford they are tall with alot of big bodies. They are smart and Tara Im sure has a great game plan .

UConn 72 - Notre Dame 65 (Zebras BEHAVE!!!)

Stanford 66 - Baylor 63. O-sisters get BG in foul trouble - Sims keeps them close - but not close enough!

What is interesting is that the early prognosticators are no longer paying credence to Stanford's weak schedule as a barrier to their postseason success.

I think we might win in overtime.

As to the other game, I'm rooting for Stanford.

ND - 68
UCONN - 63

Baylor - 72
Stanford - 58

I can't see Stanford winning. Simms will school Orrange and dominate that matchup. Griner and Williams with Pope helping out, will outplay the O sisters, and the best Stanford can hope for at the 2 - 3 positions is a draw. Baylor by 10 plus.

UConn - 62
Notre Dame - 61

Baylor - 80
Stanford - 70

This is my first time at this, so be gentle. Gonna take a WAY conservative approach this first time out of the box: UCONN 77
Penn State 59 in the Sweet Sixteen  Not bad for a rookie - but nowhere to go but down.

From your keyboard to God's eyes to the score board ;)

The smart guys in Vegas have Baylor by 7.5, UConn by 1.5. (Yes, I know that this is not necessarily what they think the actual outcomes will be but rather the spread that will equalize betting on both sides, but still.....)

I think Geno will have the better hairdo.... other than that, I'm just hoping...:)

Sounds pretty spot on to me! Besides I have spent the entire day working on a cover letter and resume for one of the eaglets that positively, absolutely must be done today! Sigh, the parenting never ends and we all love it...just not on game day!

And that 1.5 says that is the game that they think could swing the most wildly of the 2 ... I think ...meaning most unpredictable...

UConn 79-ND 65 Novosel a non factor after a couple of early charge calls, KML/Bria have career games.
Stanford 66-Baylor 62 Griner sits in first half with 2 early fouls, Nneka takes over the game.
Those are my stories and I'm sticking with them.
Go UConn!!!!

Exactly ..... there are a lot more people around the country who like to bet on a wide range of games in different sports just for the fun of it, and the UCONN name carries extra weight in WCBB. I think this skews the betting and that it's closer to a "pick-em" from a true oddsmaker's standpoint. JMO.

If the UConn game goes to overtime, I'm going to croak.

The worst would be if our team plays embarrassingly poorly. I guess I'd rather sweat out an overtime than see Tiffany and Bria and Stef looking lame.
