I think our guards might eat their guards alive
70 percent purdue. I was sitting in a purdue section and they are loud. What will be the split on crowd support ? Purdue seems to have a ton of fans at these games so far.
70/30 Purdue probably. They have the most fans and think they'll get a bunch of neutralsWhat will be the split on crowd support ? Purdue seems to have a ton of fans at these games so far.
It’s unfortunate that many of the UConn tickets were sold on secondary market. Purdue fans all over the UConn sections.70/30 Purdue probably. They have the most fans and think they'll get a bunch of neutrals
I'm not sure SJ should ever guard Edey. He can't handle him, size wise. I'm thinking when Edey is in, Clingan is in.Also, SJ needs to run the floor every time he can when he's in for DC and not let Edey post deep.
weren't the top donors able to buy 12?It’s unfortunate that many of the UConn tickets were sold on secondary market. Purdue fans all over the UConn sections.
That’s what you get when you give 8 tickets to the big donors. Of course they’re not going to use them all and of course they’re going to try to make money off of it.
Would love it but nah...Just win babyWe need to keep the 13-point streak going!

Edey seems to play like Kalk does, never leaves the 4' out from the rim. It should leave the freethrow line and mid range openDo we see Cling fire an early three to try to draw Edey away from the paint on D? Otherwise he doesn’t move from under the basket where he never gets a foul called on him.
They’re intimidated when he comes and rearranges his uniform and wipes the bottom of his sneakers. The man even riled up Mark Sears. His ball handing ability and aptness in sifting through defenses separates him from the rest.
If we run it out after rebounds and make Edey tired, we'll put up points. They have exactly 0 players who can stop Steph in transition
Make him run and we have SJ to continue the track meet of giants when DC is out. See Edey run. Run run run.DC needs to stay out of foul trouble like everyone is saying, but he also has to use his speed on both ends. Get down the floor and make Edey catch the ball out a few further than he likes and make him set up on the defense's left side of the floor. And then stay between him and the rim. Like everyone has said make Edey work for his numbers.
Go over the top of screens and Newton must be engaged from the start. Run offense and wear the other team out. Also, SJ needs to run the floor every time he can when he's in for DC and not let Edey post deep.
And we're one of the few teams that can replicate Edey's size in practice, so it won't be as much of a deterrent. Plus, Clingan is faster and more athletic than Edey, so our offense will have practiced regularly against a much better defender at a similar size.To me, this is where my head is at. Clinigan needs to play good D, stay in the game, and make ZE work for his 20/10. Anything we get him from him offensively is a bonus imo. Purdue needs 45 points from everyone else, at a minimum.
Who are they putting on Castle? Newtown? Karaban?
But Edey plays 40 minutes. Unless we get Edey in foul trouble, Johnson is going to guard Edey for some short spans.I'm not sure SJ should ever guard Edey. He can't handle him, size wise. I'm thinking when Edey is in, Clingan is in.
Purdue seems to play defense like Creighton with Kalk. Just keep the 5’s right by the rim
