UConn (-6) vs Purdue

I have no opinion on the spread whatsoever, but the moneyline is -270/+220, which implies a 70% or so chance to win. That seems a bit high.

Edey will need to work hard to get his 20 and 10 but he will get it. The key will be defending the 3 like we did in the 2nd half tonight and running OUR offense. Purdue cannot match our defensive intensity and depth.

Purdue is pretty undersized (except Edey obviously). Smith is only 6’0 and he had 5 TO’s tonight.

To me, this is where my head is at. Clinigan needs to play good D, stay in the game, and make ZE work for his 20/10. Anything we get him from him offensively is a bonus imo. Purdue needs 45 points from everyone else, at a minimum.

Who are they putting on Castle? Newtown? Karaban?

I have a feeling Stephon Castle is going to take over. Purdue doesn't have an answer for him. Win the title and on the the NBA and cement his UConn legacy. Expect a better game from Newton. Diarra could also be big drawing Edey away from the hoop and driving past him. Two very motivated teams, but I think we have too many answers.
