L'Ville loss means nothing. Nuts!

Is this from today or last week?
Baylor now has 2 losses and I believe Louisville has 4.

Including yesterday's games. Don't know if it makes a difference concerning seeding.
As of right now (12:30PM EDT), the AP Poll on the NCAA website is for last week.
The weekly AP Poll is released around 1:30PM on Monday, normally.

UNLESS, you are just referring to the RPI ratings, then my bad.

That had to be last weeks ranking. It does not include Baylor's loss yesterday.

Updated RPI is:
1. SCar
2. Oregon
3. Maryland
4. UConn

Shouldn't those be the four #1 seeds?

UConn should be in either Maryland or Baylor's region with Stanford in one of the other regions not with Oregon!

That's not the committee that's putting out this Ranking. Now if Baylor didn't win the Big 12 Post Season Tournament, that would upset the #1 Seedings. IF Baylor lost and UConn was ranked as the third #1 Seed, then UConn would go to Fort Wayne and Maryland would go to Dallas. However, most likely UConn would end up in Dallas with Baylor as the #2 Seed. I don't see Baylor losing in the Big 12 Post Season Tournament. That was a fluke loss by Baylor.

Not necessarily. RPI is only a part of the criteria for seeding - and not the biggest piece when it comes to the top seeds.

So we're a one seed? If they use the s-curve that means we have to beat Baylor to get the final four. That would not change if the give Baylor the 1 seed based on head to head.

If Baylor wins the B12 tournament, they will get a one seed based on a better resume, not just he H2H win. RPI is not that big a factor in seeding at the top.

I don't disagree, hence the "wink" photo in my post.

However, I do think that the committee must seriously consider how close UCONN is to the Top 4 . I think they deserve to be bracketed with the weakest One Seed - and that ain't in Portland or Greenville. #1 and # 2 are now set in stone, and UConn shouldn't have to face either.

But then, I'm not on the committee.
