UConn offense consists of four hits and two hit by pitches against Virginia pitching today. Simply not enough traffic on the bases for the Huskies, but they are facing a tough Virginia pitching staff.

Game over as the Huskies go down, but at least UConn picked up a win in one game in this series against a quality Virginia team, with all the games being close.

Only a -2 run differential...not bad. This is a deeeeep pitching staff and we know the lineup will come around.

They were the better team in this series but we did compete and it was not easy...they had to grind for this series. Bats do need to get a lot better. But the pitching depth looks promising. No idea what TV schedule is for next week but that was beautiful to be able to stream all three games...
