So today was my first UConn game, and I think it's best for the team that it's my last, that was embarrassing

I like to think we didn't lose so much as our ninth inning rally fell just a bit short.

This FSU coach was at Notre dame a couple years ago when they hung 20+ on Ben C. Helluva coach.

I was at that game when UConn lost 24-3. Tough to sit there in person. At least I watched this from home.

I always thought that the FSU baseball fans were like Duke basketball fans. Energetic, loud, funny, and annoying for opponents. But then again, I was a participant.

In 2021 Super Regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas beat NC State by 19 in game 1. NC State came back to win games 2 and 3 to make CWS. So it can be done after tough loss.

I caught a ration of abuse here at work for this loss. I guess rightfully so given the horrendous score, and the fact that I was probably an obnox during our tourney runs in March and early April!

In the big picture it was irrelevant, but that HBP to strikeout call was one of the worst calls ever. He barely moved. It was a 3-2 pitch, I believe, so getting hit gets him nothing he wasn't getting already from it being ball 4.
