UConn 2021 scheduling - when are we filling out the rest of the card?

2021 is one tough schedule but the kids should look at it as a learning experience to see where they want be.

I’d like the PAC as well. at least a series now and again..I think you kind of listed who we might get home and homes with. I would add USC mostly because they don’t seem to mind coming East on occasion for a game.

Ever taken that 11 hr flight to HI from the northeast? You need two days to recover.

I don't see a cost conscience football program signing up for an expensive trip to Hawaii. Especially a program trying to curb substantial operating deficits.

The only thing with Hawaii is you can play them in week 0 which makes the trip worthwhile and gives you an extra "off" week.

Could also play them the last week of the season and pair it timing wise with UConn playing in Maui or Diamond Head classic.

Besides Umass, here's a 2022 move that swaps in nicely with the Edsall tweet below since BYU and Uconn are both short 1 game for 2022 and Liberty's website says they are playing both BYU + Uconn in 2022.
Uconn could host BYU on 10/22 (a Uconn open date) ....
If BYU travels to Liberty on 10/29 ( both teams have open) instead of 10/22 (currently scheduled according to Liberty Future Schedules).... Uconn does not list the 2022 Liberty game (yet) on their latest schedule release which list future games: UConn Football Finalizes 2021 Schedule

BTW- Now that Uconn has also confirmed the Nov 12th, 2022 date with Liberty, a BYU at Uconn game would still be possible on Oct 22 with the one move above ..... BYU traveling to Liberty on Oct 29th...
