UConn +1.5 @Xavier | The Boneyard

UConn +1.5 @Xavier

I’d say this is a good line. Should see even action. I’ve been surprised by some of the lines for our games recently.

If you want an indication of what the line is going to be just like at Kenpom, it almost always within a point of his predictive score.

I think we’re a slightly better team. But the home court advantage probably swings it slightly in their favor. This will either be a grinder low scoring game, or a blow out.

We matched up well against them last year. So far we seem to be matching up against teams similar to last year. Good against Marquette, bad against Creighton, flip of a coin against St. John's, rolled Butler and Gtown..... etc..

Hopefully that trend continues tonight and we win comfortably

The line makes sense. If anything maybe we deserve another point away.

At the time of this post, UConn sporting 59% of bets and 92% of the money, ultimately pushing spread down to +1.

Fairly hard one to judge right now. Could be a coin flip game.

Any game with a line <2 is basically a coin flip game.

Makes sense, we match up very well with them but play poorly on the road and they’re desperate. Desperate teams at home are always a good bet. I’m on the good guys +1 because I think it’s a push-em and will always take us =

I much prefer the Marq situation where the public rushed to bet Marq like it was free money.

This Jacket Polley has is FIRE.

My main concern is dealing with their Jack Nunge down low. He can be a problem. Also shoots 3s.

The under was the play here, but it got bet down a couple points already.

Both teams matchup really well defensively against the other. Similar lineups - 2 bigs, a swing who can't shoot but rebounds, a wing who can shoot, and a playmaking point. Both have good rim protection and 2pt defense.

Main thing will be how well we shoot the 3, as they don't shoot that well. But we're on the road, so will likely shoot worse. We funnel all action into the paint to contest, and they'll likely oblige. Find a Whaley blocks prop and take the over.

Big one for our boys. Will really tell us who they are. Keep Xavier on their slide or allow them to regroup?

Let’s go Huskies!!!!

Where’s our “ fade the public” maven?

Honestly what is wrong with you? Even if you did this or have this thought, keep it to yourself. There is literally is no point posting this besides being able to gloat after the game, which would mean we lost. Pathetic.

It is pretty ingenious.

He’s either right and he can gloat or his team wins and it’s worth the money loss. Smart in its own stupid way :-)

We are 9-5 in BE road games under Hurley, which hardly translates to "playing poorly on the road." Four of our five best wins this year have been away from home -- Marquette, Auburn, VCU and St. Bonnie's. FYI.

He’s not a Uconn fan, so it’s not “his team”. He’s a troll.
