Kathy, can you post a picture of your piece of the 1999 championship floor? I saw something online being purported to be from the 1999 floor, but it is very different from my recollection of what was actually offered. I’d like to compare it to what you have.

Thanks! The one online has the tournament bracket instead of the court design that you show and no certificate of authenticity. It seems sketchy.

Is it like the one in the link below but with the 99 men’s bracket? If so then it’s authentic civic center floor with the 99 bracket on it.

It is! The description says it’s from the championship court in Saint Petersburg, but I zoomed in on the plaque itself, and it definitely says that it is from the Hartford Civic Center.

I also have a piece of the 1999 floor. Little drawing with it with an x marking the spot where my piece was on court.

I don’t know if it was on the boneyard or Twitter but someone proposed selling pieces signed by players. At the time it made so sense with the current roster but now that we won the championship there would have to be some serious demand for that with the current team.

Any chance the university could turn this into some NIL opportunity for the guys?

I’d pay a pretty penny for a piece of the gampel floor signed by this team or even one with just Adama.

Me too! I think my floor spot (based on the little card) is where Langdon tripped and gave the ball up at the end of the game.

I'm all for using this effort to raise money either to pay for the floor replacement itself or for other things for the program.
