I don’t believe the list was about great overall players it was about great 3 point shooters. And he certainly was one of the best we ever had.

Sure, and I agreed with you on that, but I was explaining the bias.

Also, the great players played more and hit more 3s. Fair’s %s were good but he only averaged 1.7 3s a game. Rip, for example, made well over 2 a game.

Rashad has to be on that list. So do Chris Smith and Brian Fair. Albert Mouring and Todd Polley are in the mix too. I wouldn’t have Scheffer on the list.

Rip averaged 2.3 3s per game…,,1/2 more than Fair. Hardly that distinguishable. Fair also made more 3s per game than Kemba or Shabazz. Easily ( Kemba averaged 1.1) He belongs on the list no matter how you want to try and data mine. It’s really not arguable, he was every bit the 3 point specialist that Rashad was he just wasn’t involved in very many big games or clutch spots.

Rashad is my favorite 3 point shooter. He was clutch. The majority of threes on that video clip rip the net, they’re not rattling home. Perfect trajectory! And Florida wanted him to join as a walk on. Unreal.
