Look, after the first 10-15 top recruiting classes Rivals and Scout know . Frankly, I don't think they're doing much more than watching a little film and seeing if they can find out what offers kids have. If Saban offers you a schollie than you're probably pretty good.

Good coaches put together staffs that can identify and develop talent and O'Leary has clearly done that at UCF. We used to do it very well. Folks always complained that Edsall couldn't recruit. Well, according to Rivals and Scout that was the case, but when kids like Butler, Branch, Frey, Wilson got on the field it turned out that they were terrific athletes and could play. I'll take that group of two stars any day.

You would have thought that 90% of the kids would have come from Fla. Really not the case if you take a look.

He can coach a lot better than he fills out a resume that's for sure........

A number of years he got 9-12 3* while selling CUSA as conference opponents. How many did UConn get those same years selling BE opponents?

Bet he does a heck of a lot better this year with who he has beat on the BCS level, plus good bowl opponent, possibly AAC rep, at a BCS bowl.

I think this team will be "lights out" in AAC, before they are selected "in next ACC expansion"

George O'Leary is a really good coach. He was hired by Notre Dame and let go because of some inaccuracies in his resume. But he won't come here the guy is already 67 years old and he's building something great at UCF.
