Agree but this isn't complicated. Play the guy that gives you the best chance to win. Mora hasn't done that so far because he's seems invested in the success of Nick as the future guy. The best way to speak to any player not starting is to be honest about where they need to improve and provide a pathway and plan to get there. If the improvement is not adequate you should already have been doing that with the other guys in the same position group. Controversy among fans is a given. But objective progress should be the metric for coaches, not the expectations you had going into the process. And you need to to remember that recruiting and retention of skill players on offense will be impacted by the kind of offense you run. Unfortunately ours had shrunk down to accommodate the limitations of our QB, and you could see the frustrations of the players. The dramatic shift with JF should be all you needed to see when plotting out the path forward. At least for the rest of this season.Great come from behind win on the road. I have tried to steer away from the Fagnano-Evers debate like the plague as I try to call what I see and not stick to a narrative, but Fagnano has to start now. Evers will look good at times but then doesn't execute the basic plays and reads. To be fair he hasn't been helped out much with the wr drops, Bell had an even worse game then Evers.
Mora could make the qb change creatively, tells Evers, we still believe in you but we wanna get you healthy and right. It does help that Fagnano is a senior so much less qb controversy moving forward.
