Do receivers tackle on defense???Receivers are expected to catch the ball… can’t blame the drops on defense

Well, to his credit, Tyler P kept playing. So did the rest of the team. Yeah, it was against the B team, but at least it looked remotely like football in the second half...
Agree but unfortunately some only have a few years left to prove what they can do. Leading to explore options. With tps size and mobility maybe try using both. Who ever has the hot hand that’s who you stick with use it in a game by game basis. We know sk is tough. He’s literally went up against our hardest opportunities we’ve had to date. Idk how tp does getting hit play after play like sk did in PurdueI’m primarily worried that we keep both TP and SK here in the off-season. QB’s get hurt, especially running QBs. We have two good talents on the roster and we need them both to push each other and back each other up. Even in our best years, our backup became our starter most of the time. Both guys will play and have their chances if they stay.

I hope they stick with TP. He's athleticism look to cause a headache for Army's defense on several occasions. Opening up some opportunities for the offense.
There's another 5'10 qb that was great in college and even won a superbowl. Not saying TP will turn into a Russell Wilson, but if they continue to play to his strengths like they did, there's no reason why he can't be successfull.Right. His athleticism shifted the pocket and angles for the defense. TP was very good making the first defender miss which is another skill which agitated Defensive Coordinators.
As announcers said his next level of development is to lean how to live another day by sliding and not trying to squeeze out every last yard.

Brees was never really a runner though. TP like Wilson can make plays with his legs which makes defense have to be real disciplined to stop him making plays.I was thinking Drew Brees but he is 5'11".
I would love for all of them to stay and be great but wouldn’t worry about next year at this time.I’m primarily worried that we keep both TP and SK here in the off-season. Ankle, I think.Sorry he’s injured….
But he might ready again next week- not really sure on the severity of this “lower body injury”
Got that right. He’s head and shoulders over Pindell in the passing dept. Threw some deep ones on the money that were dropped.I think Tyler’s potential as a passer in significantly better than Pindell’s.
Yeah- I was trying not to be specific since I don’t think the specifics are out thereAnkle, I think.
was wondering the same thing. Maybe he came in, watched a practice and said "Why isn't this kid starting?"Wondering if Mazzone suggested this.
I don’t mean to be redundant, but I’m with Rosebud, Krajewski is a genuine FBS QB. I just see it. We have two talented QBs.was wondering the same thing. Maybe he came in, watched a practice and said "Why isn't this kid starting?"
Idk. SK is entrenched here. He’s got a real nice life going in Storrs. He loves it. TP is big man on campus tonight. He will likely stick around.zero chance we keep both.
No. Make a good selection for head coach, an offensive minded HC, and UConn will improve rapidly.Build around him. Slow and steady.
