Darius Butler really stepped up for the Colts. Didn't join the team until October, but had two interceptions for TD's. Love Luck and the Colts...gotta get Donald Brown and Scott Lutrus healthy. Four Huskies on Indy!

who is the other dude?

Not trying to pick on you, but this one of the reasons we are not in a stable conference right now.

A fan committed enough to post on a bball message board has no idea who one of the greatest fball players we have had is.

That's a problem? I watched a lot of UConn football during his years here and that guy looked like a marine who was a UConn grad or student..........the problem with the football team is the coaching and their inability to bring the non-everyday fan into the fray. I could pick out Donald Brown in a picture and Dan O but their inability to excite the people who could be swayed is their issue not ours. I read the people available when they accepted PP as their choice.....they blew it. Partially because Randy screwed them I get that, but Randy, while doing a solid job, didn't sell the program all that well either. He was selfish, aloof and cared about Randy. While his teams performed and were competitive they weren't all that exciting either...........I want to be a UConn football fan, hopefully they bring in a young stud to find the life in the fans who are on the fence. As a fan of UConn hoops for over 40 years and still happy to go to games every weekend I'm guessing there are a lot more like me........just saying, it's on WM and SH not me and ace boon!!!

I could really care less about UConn football. There's a reason you will find all my posts on the basketball board.

Like nails on a chalkboard...

Lol, so ya'll are trying to dictate what I should be a fan of? Get the duck over yourselves, I wouldn't be able to pick most of the women's basketball players out of a lineup either. UConn football doesn't pique my interest in the slightest and a poster's panties getting bunched up isn't changing that.

Nope. You misunderstand.

"could care less"

It's an abomination of English that makes me cringe whenever I see it. It means the opposite of what the person intends. It defies logic and stands as a benchmark for the literary capabilities, or lack thereof, of the unfortunate poster.

thanks for letting me know to put your clown ass on ignore, should've done it earlier when you thought Omar had a good chance of being a one and done.

Panties bunched up? I am not even the slightest bit mad, just realize that if/when we are playing ECU and Tulane regularly in basketball, that the main contributing factor is lack of fan support in football. They are no longer mutually exclusive.

Fixed that for you. Seems to me the fan support is there, or at least where it should be.

The football team will be substandard as long as PP is the head coach. The guy does nothing to create enthusiasm or excitement. I also didnt recognize Butler. Defensive backs are not nearly as recognizable as offensive stars... and Butler wasn't that good as a Patriot. He got burned deep an awful lot.

Where it should be? In the 2011 season, coming off of a BCS bowl, season ticket sales and television ratings did not spike like one would assume. Things SHOULD be a lot better than they are now. The product on the field, obviously, has a lot to do with it but there should have been a pretty steep climb after the Fiesta Bowl.

I'm a big UConn football fan but did not recognize Butler either. On the gridiron we're mainly used to seeing them with their helmets on.

I ran this post through a translator in a few different languages and had some amusing results.

Korean: So all you need to be a fan of trying to dictate? get over yourselves, too, most of the women basketball players of the lineup won't be able to choose. UConn football does not boast a little attention and is getting bunched up, it does not change the panties of the poster.

Chinese: So all you fans to dictate what I should be? Forget your , most unable to either pick the lineup of women's basketball player. University of Connecticut Football will not spark my interest and get the rub of the poster in any way without changing underwear.

Japanese: So if you plan to dictate a way all you fans are going? Get over yourselves for not getting sex, to choose most of the female basketball players from the lineup. Changed this pique my interest in UConn football a bit too and no, no, get a poster panties bunched.

I was laughing until I realized how pathetic it is that this is how I now spend my New Year's Eves.
