Did Maya play in China and if so, is Shao a friend of hers?

Maya played in China about 4 years or so. I don't think she played this past season. I'm not sure if she knows Shao Ting, but she probably played with or against her.

Here's some info on Shao Ting. The connection appears to be via Sylvia, rather than Maya. She played in the 2014 Worlds and 2016 Olympics. She appears to have game.
