This performance is wild. Watched it thrice last night.
I would advise against watching that on mushrooms.

I see Spoon whenever they come to town. They are incredible. Even though they have an unmistakable sound, they are always doing something interesting. My favorite live song is probably "I Turn My Camera On", but they have an insanely deep catalogue. Chateau Blues will be a good live tune as well.
You, sir, are in for an absolute treat if you are going down that rabbit hole.
Spoon has been awesome for a long time.
Totally, that's what I love about them. They just rock out and it always sounds fresh.Heck yeah! And with an album like Lucifer....show zero signs of slowing down. That album flows perfectly. Feels Alright is so good!
I like how they keep their Indy identity/vibe/sound, but also just rock out. A band for the people!
Couldn't agree more on Wilco. I remember, as a young lad, working retail at American Eagle. The seasonal soundtrack had 3 or 4 tunes from YHF (along with Travis, The Shins, etc.), that was such a great era for indie music. Wilco seems to still be riding off the acclaim for that album, they don't do much for me. As you said, just meh and uninteresting.Totally, that's what I love about them. Wilco is another major indie band that came out at the same time who I liked early on but they got incredibly stale and boring for me.
